Please note reverse sensors may beep while reversing since towing mode is not activated, and depending on trailer size it could trigger emergency braking when reversing, so disable the automatic braking manoeuvre for safer reversing while towing. Rear cross traffic braking and manoeuvre emergency braking need to be switched off while towing. The control module is water resistant under normal conditions but is not fully waterproof, so it must be installed in a protected, dry location away from wheel arches, underbody areas or anywhere exposed to road spray or pressure washing. Damage from water exposure due to improper mounting is not covered under warranty.
