Refund policy

This policy applies to purchases from FORGEHAUS. Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product or service has a major failure, you may be entitled to a replacement or refund and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure is not major, you may be entitled to have the problem remedied within a reasonable time.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If an item is faulty, damaged in transit, not as described or incorrect, contact us as soon as reasonably possible at forgehaus.au@gmail.com. Include your order number, a description of the issue and clear photos where appropriate. We may ask you to stop using or installing the item while we assess the issue.

Where the Australian Consumer Law applies, FORGEHAUS will provide the remedy required by law. We will also cover reasonable return costs where required by law.

Change-of-mind returns

We are not required to provide a refund or exchange if you change your mind, order the wrong item or find the item elsewhere for a lower price. At our discretion, we may approve a change-of-mind return for an unused, uninstalled and unaltered item in its original packaging. You must contact us and receive approval before returning anything.

Unless required by law, custom-made, special-order, clearance, used, installed or modified items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns. Approved change-of-mind return shipping is the customer's responsibility, and original delivery charges are not refundable.

Fitment and installation

Please confirm vehicle compatibility and inspect all parts before installation. Professional installation may be required. Damage caused by misuse, incorrect fitment, unauthorised modification or improper installation may not be covered as a product fault, but this does not limit any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Refunds

Once an approved return is received and assessed, any refund will be issued to the original payment method. Processing times may vary between banks and payment providers.
